The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, established in 2008, is dedicated to producing competent engineers in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering. The department provides extensive practical exposure through well-equipped laboratories:
1. Basic Electrical Engineering Lab: Study of DC machines, transformers, induction motors, R-L-C circuits, energy meters, and lighting systems.
2. Energy Conversion & Devices Lab: Testing of generators, transformers, alternators, and induction motors.
3. Electrical Machine Lab: Performance testing of DC machines, transformers, and induction motors using standard methods.
4. Network & Devices Lab: Verification of network theorems, transient analysis, filter circuits, and spectral analysis.
5. Control & Instrumentation Lab: Experiments on control systems, PID controllers, sensors, and measurement bridges.
6. Power Electronics Lab: Study of SCR, TRIAC, MOSFET, inverters, rectifiers, and voltage controllers.
7. Power System Lab: Analysis of alternators, insulation testing, and power system parameters.
8. Electrical & Electronics Measurement Lab: Measurement techniques using bridges, potentiometers, CRO, and energy meters.
9. Project Laboratory: Equipped with tools and systems required for final-year project development.
